See the Dramatic Oregon Coast in all it’s Splendor. Explore Ft Clatsop where Lewis and Clark wintered in 1805-1806 before returning from their Northwest Discovery.   Hike the woods of Ecola State Park with a beautiful view of the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse. Walk through old growth forests in the Cape Meares Wildlife refuge and take in the sites of the Cape Meares Lighthouse and the huge Octopus Tree.  See the Coast by air in a Helicopter.  Horse back ride on the Beach, then take in the natural wonders of the Largest Sea Cave in the United States where hundreds of Sea Lions make there home.  Next take in the sites hiking up to one of the most Beautiful Points on the Coast and Overlook miles of Rocky Beach.  Explore two more historic Lighthouses on this adventure and step back into time as you explore the life and times of the lighthouse keepers and how they withstood all the forces of nature to keep ships from washing up on the rocks.  Hiking distance is a total of 14-15 miles.  For three days you will explore the beauty of the Oregon Coast for only $497. Oregon has a great many waterfalls to be seen. Salt Creek Falls They all have their own character and splendor.  Come to Oregon and explore these beautiful examples of nature's handiwork.  Most waterfalls are quick and easy hikes into Oregon's interior.  Fed by the most powerful rivers and streams the waterfalls can look both majestic and fragile.  The first two days you will explore three or four stream waterfalls with examples of Horsetail and Plunge Falls.  The second day will bring an example of every type of waterfall Oregon has to offer as you explore 6 more waterfalls on our way to Crater Lake.  At Crater Lake you will see the unique and extreme terrain of the Pumice Desert and the lush forests within the park.  Then you will take a boat across the lake to Wizard Island where you will get to view the caldera in all its splendor and then those willing will ascend Mt Scott and see a beautiful overlook of the lake.  Climb the trail to Garfield Peak and see wildlife, wildflowers, and fantastic scenery.   Several more short hikes within the park offering wildflowers, wildlife, and many, many, many photo opportunities.  This five day tour is a bargain at $997.(Four days of camping included and transportation to and from Medford airport).  For more information or booking contact graham@oregonhiker.com This tour is currently booking for June 2009.  What should I take on this Tour?
